The Cannon Division delivered an exciting finish, with defending champions John Varol and Will Register successfully defending their title. After battling Josh Fickes and John Hunter throughout the last two rounds, the two teams headed to a playoff to determine the champion. On the second playoff hole, the famous par-3 17th, Varol and Register came through with an aggregate score of 5, combining for a birdie and a par to secure the victory and capture back-to-back Devlin Championships.
The Saber Division provided plenty of drama on the final day, ultimately requiring a playoff to determine a champion. Steve Nichols and Jerry Gunthorpe held their nerve in the aggregate format, with both players making par on Hole #1 in the playoff to secure the title and cap off an impressive performance throughout the week. Their victory was a fitting finish to a tightly contested division that remained up for grabs until the very end.
